How we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
Who is responsible for your data

What data we collect
- Request form: your first and last name, email address, phone number, destination of interest, your message, and the page you sent the request from.
- Technical data: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) briefly stores your IP address and browser information for security purposes.
- Cookies and similar technologies: only if you consent to them (see “Cookies” below).
Why we process your data and on what legal basis
- To respond to your request, contact you about an expedition, and organize it – steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising (Meta Pixel) – only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- To keep the website secure and working – our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who we share your data with
We never sell your data. It is processed only by the following service providers that help us operate:
- Notion Labs, Inc. – our request database;
- Resend – email notifications about new requests;
- Cloudflare, Inc. – website hosting and security;
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. – the Meta Pixel, only if you accept cookies.
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area (in the United States). Such transfers rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
How long we keep your data
We keep request data for no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Expedition participants’ data is kept for as long as needed to organize the trip and as required by law.
Cookies
When you first visit the website, we ask whether you accept cookies. Until you do, the Meta Pixel stays off and no advertising cookies are set. We remember your choice in your browser, and you can change it at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) – helps us measure how our ads perform on Facebook and Instagram. Used only with your consent.
- Embedded content – YouTube videos (privacy-enhanced mode), Wistia videos, and the SociableKit Instagram feed. These services may process data under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email angistattoo@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you believe your data is being handled improperly, you can file a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt) or the data protection authority in your country. We do, however, encourage you to contact us first – we’ll do our best to resolve the issue quickly.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always published on this page, with its date shown at the top.
